Monday, May 11, AM. Thank you very much for your reply. I tried a clean boot and recieved the same outcome on both of my Vista machines. I have had the updates turned on thinking that would help since this program never ran smoothly at all from the very beginning. In fact it dumped a lot of the HP features after about the first 2 years and I have only had them back once when I took out all my files and restored the computer's Vista Program to factory settings.
Even the wireless keyboard and wireless mouse stopped working and only worked once again after restoring to factory settings. Still after that was done I had to keep updating and updating Windows Vista because I never got a Windows Disk to reboot with if anything crashed and it has about 6 times to blue screen. I had made a back up disk or two really and most of the time putting this in would bring back my files and the Windows Vista program.
Now however it has crashed and goes into a light colored blue screen with just the mouse cursor on the screen and it is supposed to be fixing the program but it just sits there. I need a Windows Vista boot disk and don't know why I ever bought this without a Disk to reboot with. The computer just came with that installed. Now I am wanting to upgrade to Windows 8 if the computer will do that.
I'm not sure and without the Windows Vista boot disk I can not find out because it is frozen on this light blue screen from a previous black screen saying to wait while windows repairs itself but it doesn't. I left it on all night and nothing.
